How long is it taking to get your EAD after being approved? - Page 4

ok. Kinda worried. I did my bio yesterday Jan 10 around 1pm pacific time walk in. I checked my case status and for my EAD it says card is being produced. It was approved the same day January 10. I don't have a common hispanic name and have no record. Should I be concerned that it was approved the same day? I don't think the background check could be done in 2-3 hours b4 they go home unless the FBI is doing checks 24/7. Could it be a glitch since I wasn't schedule for my bio until Jan 13? Kinda worried now that I may have screwed myself. Anyone else know anything about such an immediate approval?

Lol. I just responded to you in the official thread. Maybe it's not a glitch. Maybe you really got approved. Just wait and see if you get your card soon. If it is a glitch then you'll just have to wait a bit longer. With uscis you never know! Let us know, though!

^^^^ yes. . Thank You. I am just concerned that I did my BIO around 1pm pacific time and it was approved the same day according to the case status. I doubt fbi is running background checks 24/7 and I am sure I am not the only waiting for background check. I know it doesn't take long for a background check if everything clears. Like I said earlier I don't have a common hispanic first or last name and have no criminal record what so ever. Maybe they are approved automatically once you pass the background check. hopefully DACA approves today and I won't have to worry. thank you all.

Well, my background check took forever. I was told they take time but who knows. Maybe they got their stuff together this time after the big delays. I really want to know because it was my understanding the background check was one of the main things that took forever on cases. But if they can get approved that quickly then that's awesome!

after the status is 'we have produced your card' is it mailed then or do you have to wait til it says 'we mailed your card'? im trying to track it

Hey, mine didn't change. And after I got the tracking number I didn't even check for any updates. I was more concerned about the usps update. Having that tracking number gave me piece of mind. I hope you get your card soon if you haven't already.
