I Just got approved! (1/24/2017)

Hi all,

I know some of us have been anxious since last Friday. I have been approved for my second renewal. I posted this in the sticky renewal thread but I figured I would start a new thread to calm peoples nerves. As long as is this not a typo with the website I think it is safe to assume they are processing applications normally. Best of luck to you all!


Here is my timeline:

Renewal Sent: 11/25/2016
Received by USCIS: 11/29/2016
Bio appt sent: 12/9/2016
Bio appt:12/29/2016 (Done in a different state because of the holidays)
Approved: 1/24/2017

"We have approved your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization , Receipt Number IOE0901614964. On January 24, 2017, we ordered your card to be produced. We will mail your card to the address you gave us. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address."

This is awesome, so they are still approving normally, that kinda did calm my nerves cause no one was getting approved since the 20th, but I must of spoke too soon.

My time line is similar to op
But I sent mine on Dec 12 and they received it on the 19th

My bio app was suppose to be Jan 12, but I walked in Jan 4.

Does that mean my case is about to be approved soon enough?

Late April. I sent my renewal app right around the 120 day mark.

It always depends. However, it is definitely a possibility that you will be approved soon. Good luck!

Just got approved today ph34r91.

Been checking uscis website.every day, since Dec 20, multiple times.

Then I saw.your approval notice, and I checked the website again, and i was approved.

Quick question, did you create your USCIS account? If so, how many notices did you get?

I did create an USCIS account. I believe I only got one extra letter from the account creation. I don't remember getting anything extra after that.
