First time applicant thats been fighting my first approval now for 2 years. Im on my second i821d application and on dec. 23rd 1 year with no response or even an RFE. I guess it doesnt really matter now because my attorney filed for my green card through marriage of a USC and through 245-i. It still sucks cause its another fucking process to go through but i'm more confident since it will allow a pathway to citizenship. I just hate waiting. i was told that if i get daca before i get my green card to think of it as icing on the cake. Heres my DACA timeline:

10/22/14 - BIO
6/14/15 - RFE
8/6/15 - DENIED

Well, at least you got your path to citizenship and no more struggle as far as immigration goes. I wouldn't mind waiting for that. I waited more than a year to be approved for DACA and I would do it all over again for another chance. Anyway, congrats!

Thank you Queen. My checks were cashed today by USCIS. The petition of 420$ the Biometrics fee of 1070$ and the fine of 1000$. I hope this process goes by faster than the denial took on my first i821d application of 11 months and obviously the 2nd one i still have pending thats been a little over a year!

Well, that's good. I hope you get approved soon. Going back to your first i821d application, if you don't mind sharing, how was it that your school was not accredited? And then after your biometrics appointment you waited about 8 months without hearing anything? Did you ever contacted uscis and if so what did they say? I was under the impression that no news where good news and that people who didn't qualify were denied pretty much immediately or got their rfe right away.

Yah it wasn't accredited because i had obtained it from an "online high school" which was total BS and were just ripping people off! I learned that the hard way 11 months later. But yes i wasn't t0o clear on my first timeline but i did receive a RFE 5/15 to Show more proof on accredidation for "Fortville High School" or show proof that i was "enrolled in school or in GED program." On 6/15/15 i replied with printed proof from the "Fortville Website" (which was totally fake) as well as proof that i was enrolled in e GED course in my local school district aka adult education. Then almost 2 months later in Aug i was denied. They said i needed to be enrolled before the time of applying. I was quick with obtaining my GED the right way and reapplying that same Dec. and here i am 13 months into on my second application and no RFE or anything! Let me remind you that every case is different and will differ from the next, there are a lot of people that can relate. Heres my Timeline.

Thank you so much for sharing. I really appreciate that. That totally sucks. I'm sorry that happened to you and I'm sorry your case has been pending forever. Hopefully you'll hear something soon.

Mine is expiring in June. I will send my application tomorrow.

I haven't gotten a case update since I filed for DACA 12/23/15 until yesterday. "My case was transferred and a new office has taken jurisdiction." which means exactly what it says but my question is Why and How long before it gets looked over and approved or denied? It's been 13 months since i applied and exactly 1 year since i got my biometrics done. Last friday i got my biometrics letter for i-485 and i-765 for february 3rd and i decided to take a gamble and walk in to see if they would welcome me or turn me away and thankfully they took my biometrics without even looking at my appointment date. Super stoked on that, i just want something to happen with my DACA so i can get a SSN and not have to wait the time for AOS. If anyone has experienced what i've experienced on my i-821d where it gets transffered, please tell me your timeline as well as how long after they approved or denied your application. Thank you!
