She was caught doing what a lot of undocumented people have done in their past >>>>working with fake ssn.... vargas himself admitted to doing this as discussed in this thread http://dreamact.info/forum/showthread.php?t=68393 Point of the thread is don't get too comfortable and think things are going to stay the same as they were under Pres Obama. When trump says he is going after hard core criminals, this most likely will not be the case. We all are gonna need to be careful/cautious.

But she used another person's name as well. She impersonated another human being. That is identity theft.

My parents do not do that. They put in a random SSN and use their real names. Then they use the ITIN to pay taxes.

What she did is not what a lot of undocumented people do. Please get that clear through your head.

You said that a fake SSN is a factor of being deported, it is not. The lady in question was deported because of identity theft. We all agree Trump will be not tolerate this kind of stuff. I think everybody here agrees with that.

Ok, my bad for continuing to use the term fake ssn, She was using someone else ssn to work as was vargas. I'm not condoning her actions...I have never worked with anyone's ssn --But I can understand why she might have went that route. My point is that a lot of undocumented people including vargas is guilty of doing the exact same thing. Given the circumstances of undocumented immigrants, officials usually didn't go after them as hard as they would other folks until now.

Make of it what you will but Trump also said he would release his taxes and then gave the middle finger to anyone asking for it after he got into office. folks Heartily defending trump for going after the "undocumented criminals" might find their own asses caught up in the mix. Be careful what you wish for.

This means they denied her Stay of Removal and had no other legal avenues to stay.

We'll be reading a lot of similar stories like these over the next 4 years unfortunately.

You say that's a serious crime but she was brought here when she was 14 and didn't have DACA. Let's not pretend you wouldn't do the same type of thing if you didn't have DACA

Exactly! It's not serious since almost everyone here or their parents have done it.
