They are aware that negative press on other issues is equally as distracting. Stephen Miller and AG might be behind this.

They want someone to sue that has no chance of winning, that way they can declare a victory while at the same time avoiding Trump having to take a public position on the subject.

The outcome of this might be that, They cannot pursue targeted deportation of Dreamers, unless they are encountered by ICE by "accident".
I doubt it. The arrest happened last week (before Flynn resignation).

It's not though. He was arrested Friday and the Flynn story broke yesterday. But I agree that hopefully this will force Trump to take a public stance on this and kinda speed things up. The uncertainty is what's getting to me...

I am saying it is possible,

Flynn has been going on for a while, besides, Flynn might not be the reason, there are plenty of other things that the administration is fighting. The ban, ethics issues with endorsements, etc..

Yeah I don't think the two are connect. You're looking too deep into it.

I think someone else here said dreamers had been arrested ICE while obama was in office. Let's just hope trump is pressure to talk more about daca.

I am with you...

Although I have a bad feeling about what the outcome might be.

Anything is possible if this person is deported. I would make sure you have a someone you trust access to financials in case the worst happens.

Most likely he's going to be released. But damn now all of his friends and coworkers know. And I doubt he wanted anyone else to know he has daca. The question remains if his father had any criminal records

The way you think is scary but it definitely could be true.
