Right now DACA staying put is all we can ask for. Lets not push our lucks. You see how people with green cards are getting treated? We are lucky to be able to still drive and work. I will take this for the next 4 years.

If DACA survives the next 4 years, its safe to assume that it is safe until a permanent situation, if ever, takes place.

He isn't wishing the worst, if you passed ESL you would know what he's saying.

He's saying that if DACA is cancelled, and bridge passes, congress is more than happy to stall and stall until we are FUCKED.

You will have to create your own path.

Congress eventually will say, dreamers have been here for 8 years, let's allow them to adjust.

I have an older Guatemalan friend, he had an EAD for 8 years before he could adjust. I think he was under some protection as well.

I pray we are able to adjust. It would be such a huge burden lifted off our backs.

Dealing with Trump is like being in a bad relationship. You want to hate him for all the fucked shit that's gone down since since he took office but at the same time love him for not touching DACA and apparently having a soft spot in his egotistical heart for us despite his extreme far right views.

Hypocrisy at its best.
Funny that you failed ESL. Clearly the thread was made tongue-in-cheek to be a parody of "Please STOP being so pessimistic".

You're right that I probably should've made the parody more clear, and for that I apologize.

If he shields and protects us I will give him props. It's the right thing to do, and it'll make me believe he isn't just letting Bannon manipulate him. I think his intentions are good, but he's now relying on these evil advisors to pass all those horrible EO's. Let's pray he doesn't undo DACA because congress is horrible at passing anything. Pass a bill before daca is repealed pleaseeeeee.

Forget about the Bridge Act if Trump keeps DACA until Congress votes something. In my opinion, it will be something more plausible attached with more enforcement/border wall/E-Verify.

But that's just my two cent on
