Sorry.
My post is accurate. The memo assigns low enforcement priority to current DACA holders and to individuals who meet the guidelines for low-priority for enforcement under DAPA.

Moreover, judge Hanen ordered the administration to respond to his DAPA injunction next month (I forget the date).

First time since Trump winning the election, I see a lawyer saying it's ok for first time DACA applicants to apply;

Quote:
5. *DACA continues as a program. *That means that if you have DACA you can continue renewing your work permit. *You can also apply for DACA for the first time if you have not done so yet, or if you become eligible. There are always risks in any government program, and we understand that Attorney General Sessions may move to declare the DACA program outside the President's authority to enact, or encourage states like Texas to sue in federal court to stop DACA (this has happened already and DACA was found to be within the president's authority). *Our advice is simple. *If you are going to take advantage of DACA, use it as a tool to try to secure other immigration. *Some people have options. whether it is immigration through marriage, or school or work. *You need to talk to an experienced immigration lawyer to see what your option are, if any.

This is what I want to know as well. This is the 2014 DACA/DAPA we are talking. What if a beneficiary has a I-130 Approved but waiting for PD to become current?

You mean 2014 Exeutive Action of Obama under eDACA/DAPA is protected under the new memo?

You mean the eDACA and DAPA right? What happens next month? Is it going back to SC for vote again?

The memo does not protect anyone under eDACA and DAPA. It does not address it in this memo. However there is a foot note that it will be addressed in a future guidance.

Footnote about eDACA/DAPA? Is this about the injunction from 4-4 SC decision?

DACA Recipients are safe right now. DO NOT let anyone lie or cheat you. There is no indication so far that immigration authorities are coming after DACA recipients or their families.

DACA is in place.

They would not be allowing renewals or new applicants.

Please stay out of trouble.
