Hey guys, I'm back. During the summer of last year I applied for Advanced Paroled and was approved in late August. I ended up going on my trip to Mexico in October and it was amazing.

Its been 4 months since that trip and now I'm thinking of sending in another application to get Advanced Parole. I would be using the same reason (sick grandfather who can't come to the US). Idk if I would get approved this time since I already used that reason but I have nothing to lose in trying.

The only thing I'm worried about is the man child president who has taken over the white house. I know nothing has changed from DACA (yet) but it still worries me something might happen while I'm out of the country.

Basically my questions are:

1) Has anyone here applied for Advanced Parole a second time after leaving, and did you use the same reason?

2) Is it safe to travel right now?

I would say the risk is worth it for changing from EWI to a Parole entrant. However, that does not apply to here. Whether you feel it is worth it is on you.

ummm stay put maybe?

Not sure why you want to travel again considering you already cleared your EWI.

Since you already cleared your EWI, and you remain an arriving alien (meaning that even if you get ordered removed you can still adjust status), I'd say it's not worth the risk.

So.

1. Yes people have done that, assuming the reason remains valid. You might need to get updated medical documentation.

2. Safe - idk, with any other administration I'd say yes. With this guy and who he appointed, I really wouldn't risk it unless you have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Most lawyers are recommending not to do AP. I would speak to a lawyer and weigh out the risks.

I know most people use AP to clear their EWI but I didn't travel to Mexico to clear my EWI, I traveled to see my family that I hadn't seen in 18 years.

Thanks for the answers guys. I seriously hate what this administration is doing right now and I can only hope something positive comes soon.

Did you have to submit paperwork about your grandfather.

I do not think there is any issue to reapply again. My sister did twice and got approved both time with the same documents. she traveled on both occasions as well.
