I've traveled within the United States twice since I was approved for DACA. My question is: Has anyone traveled within the United States recently after trumps inaguration? Has anyone encountered problems at the airport with ICE or the Boarder patrol? I'm planning on traveling in April still undecided with all thats going on. I do have an NJ DL. Thank You in advance!

You don't encounter border patrol unless you're coming in from an international flight.

The only domestic case was at JFK airport where they were looking for a person that had a removal order and thus was checking IDs of everyone coming in from that domestic flight. It was controversial and you probably won't see that happen again (hopefully).

You won't have problems on regular flights

Just make sure your ID meets the real ID act.

What state issued your identification?

The states where residents will need identification other than driver’s licenses to fly on Jan. 22, 2018, are: Kentucky, Maine, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina and Washington.

You should be good
