I am very enthusiastic about joining the FBI, but I don't think I can.

I have always found interest and motivation to work in the FBI, but from what I've read, being under the Dream Act law, you don't meet the requirements.

I am currently studying to get my AA in business and was planning on getting my Bachelor's as well.

Is there anything I can do to join the FBI as a Dreamer?

Probably not, most government jobs require you to be a citizen. I've known some cases where they allow green card holders/visa holders to work, but those are mostly research related projects (think Department of Energy).

No you cannot join. Wait until you're a citizen, then maybe you have a chance. If you don't make it, well nuts to you.

They all require citizenship ... all of them including NASA, JPL, NSA, and even a police officer. I had a passion for all at one point or another and seeing "must be US Citizen" is the biggest disappointment.

Recently I got into cyber security related topics and then realized that you can't get anywhere with that either since every company requires a clearance which requires you to be a citizen and rarely, a permanent resident.

Well, back to reality and finding new interesting subjects.

Good luck hombre

Wait, companies have a requirement for citizenship for cyber security? That's interesting.

Indeed, most jobs require you to be a US citizen. The career I wanted either required "clearance" or "citizenship" and so couldn't really pursue.

If you're currently working on your AA I'd say continue to finish your education then hopefully by the time you graduate you'll have a citizenship.

You can start out by becoming a snitch for FBI in your community.

Yup, the best you can do is be a rat. The king of rats.
