If I were to go back to my home country (Mexico), can I do that with daca? I know I can't come back if I don't have the AP and no I'm not getting deported or anything. It's just some personal issues at home and all so I'm seeing if I can just go back. Like if I drive with my car (which is under my name with insurance) at the border, will they let me through to go back? Is there anything I should know about involving any of that? I don't know if any more information is needed but if so I'll add whatever else is needed. Thank you!!

Ridiculous question. its daca, not a greencard. You leave without permission you cant come back. Look into something called "AP".

Its a bad idea to AP right now as you could get caught outside.

I wasn't looking on coming back, just like straight up leaving without plans of returning. Thank you though!

I see what you mean OP. Yes you can take you car with you if you want to move back to Mexico. However, how are you going to register it and drive it down there? There are strict rules on registering american bought vehicles in Mexico. You would have to import it. Last time I heard, you car's model has to be older than 5 years old and younger than 20. They will also charge you at least 25% percent of the cost of the car as an import fee.

Might as well sell it here.

I'm sorry you are having difficulties OP, make sure to think long and hard beforehand. From what I've heard, yea you can just leave. I would have an up to date Mexican passport to avoid any hassle at the border.

Makes no sense for you to go, better to be here and send money over there, depending on your situation your presence over there might not be needed and could make things worse, mexico isnt a great place to be. Dont let people over there tell you that its alright living in mexico. Mexicans are screwed over there for a reason. (Coming from a mexican)

You don't even need daca for that. Just buy a plane ticket for Mexico use your Mexican passport and you're
Good to go. Or drive there and pay importation taxes

If he has DACA, will he still be subject to the 10 year ban?
