Much has been said now that Trump is president, mainly that they wont touch DACA (for now) who knows what are there intensions in the future to come! My question is they say DACA holders wont be deported, what will happen to the famiy off those DACA holders such as there parents there spouses if they dont have a legal status what will happen to them? Also how about DACA holders that have US Citizen children what happens to them also, I know now we can only guess or speculate what will happen but many situations are still uncertain and un answered!!

DACA remains and DACAers are fine given they don't do stupid shit or somehow get set up by ICE.

People who don't have legal status will be deported if they are caught, it does not matter what USC family they may have.

Having USC children and DACA does not provide any benefit, you just have DACA that is it. If you do something dumb you will be deported regardless of your kids.

If you don't have legal status (or ability to legalize somehow) or deferred action of some sort, you're subject to deportation. You having DACA only covers you. If you lose DACA then you're subject to deportation regardless of your USC children.

The funny thing is, that this was always the case, you just didn't hear about it as much during Obama's time.

If you ran into ICE during Obama's time, then same result, they would've detained you, and then your deporation procedure would begin.

It is at that point, that an individual without any relief like DACA or Deferred Action etc. would then go through the court process, sign up for a work permit while their case is pending, and hope for as much time as possible with that permit before you deportation was final...because it is mythically rare to win a deportation case...most cases I know of is people have their lawyer delay the case on purpose to give them access to a work permit for how many months/years they can get.

That's actually not true. Under Obama a lot of people would be let go if they were found to not be a danger to society. There's lots of youTube videos of ICE catching people illegally in the county and they would let them go under Obamas administration. It looks like they really aren't letting anyone go.
