Discussing a certain bill that will hopefully someday pass is different than making suggestions to exclude certain dreamers because you may think you're smarter/better than a lot of us because of your grades or degrees . You wasted your time in those long paragraphs where most of us did not read . So you can obviously give your opinion , that's what this forum is for . But your arrogant suggestions of only including a certain group of dreamer in a category where we are already specified in so many categories is beyond ignorant .

You think placing a 2.5 GPA requirement for high school will somehow make it a small group and exclude more than half of DACA holders. Fuck No. I would be shocked if 85% of the dreamers did not earn something higher than a 2.5 in high school. That group that you are mention happens to be very huge. It is not like some small group where only those got accepted into the top schools would be allowed to apply for. You know what, you are right. Everyone here who has said that gang members, rapists, child abusers, and etc. should not be eligible for DACA are ignorant because you only want a small group of people with good character to be eligible and not everyone else.

I am giving some actual propositions for my argument, but the only thing that people are replying back with is "no thats terrible", "you think your smarter than the rest"(which I never said), "dumbest thing I heard" instead of actual trying to give a reason as to why it is a bad idea. Like I said, the only reasonable argument, that did not involve making fun of my idea or putting words into my mouth, came from the user who suggested that "people have different life circumstances". The other user, Smooth, said it would be bad because some people are in difficult programs, which I believe he thought that I was referring that this would apply to college students, which I said, "no, it would only apply for high school" , and he then corrected his comment by saying, ok I understand.

This is why I will not try to have a discussion with you, and, quite frankly, why I think that people in this website will not take you seriously. Why try to attack people instead of having an actual discussion? This is from the previous thread that got locked. I assume it was because this user was not adding anything to the discussion.
