SAVE verification and GA drivers license - Page 2

I was approved December 18 and received my EAD permit on December 23Rd.

Same here . My Texas ID expired on march 8th so I went to get a new one and they told me they could not verify my immigration status and that I had to wait for a letter. I checked my SAVE case status online and it said that USCIS provided DPS with my status. I'm not sure what the amswer was cause it did not say online. I want to call DPS to see if I can go and renew my ID or if I need to wait for the letter.

Wv over here, same thing just happened to me. Went to renew and got told they'd have to verify my status through SAVE

Does Georgia give you a normal looking DL?

I did.

I was told immigration never calls... we have to call ourselves

Update:

I called DPS and they said my status was verified and that I could go
to any DPS office to resume my renewal. No need to wait for a letter. So I went and got my ID (well the paper copy)

So how long did it take to get for your status to be verified?

Congratulations! I'm glad you were able to get your ID. Sorry if this sounds dumb but is DPS your state's version of my state's DMV? (Dept of Motor Vehicles) also, how long did it take for SAVE to verify you?
