Hi. With the new administration I'm debating whether I should file for DACA or not. Unfortunately I was to scared to do apply before (had 5 years) and now not sure if I should just go for it? I've been here since I was 2 and have all my records. Been married for 5 years to my wonderful husband who is a citizen. I was advised to apply for DACA and then Advance parole. Do you guys think it might be to risky at the moment?

You should apply ASAP. What are you waiting for?

1.) You’ve let an opportunity pass you by for 5 years.
2.) You’re married to a United States Citizen, for 5 years.
3.) You could have already adjusted status to become a US citizen.

Apply now.

What’s been scaring you for 5 years? Inaction can literally destroy lives.

Why can't your husband sponsor you so you can get your green card if you don't mind me asking?

First and easiest choice is daca second option would be sponsorship. Will see a lawyer this week so hopefully something will work out.

Yeah. You were deportable with no protection for 5 years. Whereas you could've applied for DACA, done Advance Parole, Get a Green Card, and Become a U.S Citizen within those 5 years. LITERALLY
