Yes sorry for the lack of information. Yes, doing a self-file, and it's through marriage, and I am an overstay and daca ead expires sometime around august 2018. So I'm not sending in I-765 for EAD.

Hey thanks for the quick response. And yes, I was going to post everything I have, but wanted to make sure I understood all the forms correctly.
So the I-693, I fill out page one, and the surgeon fills out the remaining and hands it back to me in a sealed envelope right? Now, does anyone know, if insurance covers any of this? Cuz if NOT, then I'm thinking I might go it for a psychical and maybe vaccinations to my primary doctor who is both listed as a civil surgeon and accepts my health insurance. And then go back with my reports with me and get the remainder of the procedures done through them for my I-693. Hoping it'd at least be cheaper that way.

Also, for form I-864, I had read that I needed it, but posts I've read on didn't have it listed as one of the forms they sent. I thought maybe since I don't have a sponsor and I'm filing mine through marriage, I might not need it. I guess I was wrong. Glad you told me. But I'm probably going to need a lot of help with this one. Seems like the most complicated. I'm the only person that my wife (born in the us) is sponsoring. So pages 6 and 7.. seems to be the most complicated. Oh and where it asks "country of domicile" do I just leave it blank? She's Hispanic is that helps..

I would apply for the work permit. It's free and it doesn't hurt to have 2 work permits, you never know what Trump could do. I know it looks like DACA is here to stay but why risk it if it's a free work permit.

Wait it is? I thought it would've been but I saw that it says $410 for the fillling fee on the website. And then again I saw on here that some people hadn't sent that as well. Can you or anyone on here clarify this please? I don't want my packet to be rejected cuz I didn't send them the correct fees for a form I didn't even need in the first place lol.

Form I-693 has to be done by a civil surgeon. Roughly 200-500$. I would call around for best prices. But you say your primary physician is one make sure he's on the uscis website. And yes page one is you the rest is the civil surgeon. Sealed and submitted with I-485. Make sure it's seal or uscis won't accept. And people not submitting I-864 are probably getting RFE. You have to complete one. Since your wife is sponsoring you. Either she has to make more than the proverty line or you can add you own income but that's something you have to look into. Yes it's very complicated. I haven't done my I-485 only I-130. But when I do I'll be doing I-864ez it's a very simple version. If you're wife is only using her income to show she can sponsor you you might be able to use I-864 ez.

What he means by applying for ead is when you send you aos package including form I-765 to get ead while you wait for approval of green card. Some people don't apply because they just recently received one with daca. What he says let's just say you send your aos package and trump removes daca st the same time your ead would be invalid and if you have a job you would lose it but if you send form I-765 upon approval they send you a ead card based on green card petition so you would still work. Is free If you send with your aos package. Some people like me aren't working so I wouldn't send I-765. I hope I explained myself well

Dude thank you SOOO much for your detailed answers!! Welcome to the forum, I really appreciate it the help.
I'm really trying my hardest to get it done correctly the first time, I'm not the one to cry about shit.. but I'd probably tear out if I get RFE'd. Smh

Okay, I'll go ahead and send this as well. One question.

For # 16, Eligibility Category. Go to the "Who May File Form I-765?" section of the Instructions. In the space below, place the letter and number of the eligibility category you selected from the instructions. For example, (a)(, (c)(17)(iii), etc.

Would I be (a)(9)? And if so, do I skip the remaining of the question #'s 17 through 19?

I think it's (c) (9) but double check just in case. I wouldn't leave anything blank. Leaving questions blank could make the officer question whether you forgot to fill it in or it's meant to be blank. Just put n/a or none. Which ever fits better.

You're right. It is (C)(9). Thanks.

UPDATED--- her DETAILED employment history---

So for form I-864...
my wife's employment history. Quit her 4 year old job in california in September 2014.

Moved to Georgia. Started working for the trailer park community homes she lived in around feb 2015. She just has to do simple things like collect payments from the other renters and deposit the money to the company's account. The owner doesn't charge her rent to live there, and $260 cash for her job. She has a paper stating this, and was also eligible to receive food stamp benefits because of her low pay grade. She lived there with her dad, who financially supported her until recently when he just moved out. Now I support us.

Federal Income Tax Return Information
18.a. Have you filed a Federal income tax return for each of the three most recent tax years? Yes No

Do I just check NO?

And for 19a-19c where it asks for the past 3 years income amount, what do I write?

And do I check mark:
20. I was not required to file a Federal income tax return as my income was below the IRS required level and I have attached evidence to support this.

What evidence do I need?

Do I provide my tax papers for the last year with the form?

I'm sorry! I can't help with I-864. I went the easy way and did i-864ez. I don't even know what's all in it. There's a few posts in here that talk about sponsoring spouses not working and using our own income. And what evidence they submitted with it. Good luck!

So for form I-864... my wife has been unemployed for the past few years. So I checked unemployed and added my income to sum up to the household income.

RD 12/1
1/6 Ready for interview
3/21 EAD approved and mailed a week later... I have two now. The irony is thick... 5 years ago I had none.

I live close to LA so according to the processing times, if the date listed there is when they start looking into my case, I'm about 2.5 months from an interview date. If the 'processing date' is the date they actually adjudicate im guessing im getting an interview at the end of the month or early May.

I havent found the correlation versus, RD/PD, processing date, and interview date.
