The likelyhood that she would be deported without mercy if she didn't have DACA is pretty scary.

Late 40's Dreamer (Holy Fucking shit I'm almost 50 and still dealing with this), aged out of original DACA and didn't have a chance to apply for extended DACA after Republicans killed it on the vine.

That's what this person's situation seems to suggest, just as long as we don't commit any chargeable offence we should be good for a while. They just don't have the resources to enforce the removal of everyone, and good luck getting congress to fund their deportation efforts without throwing in some relief for us.
