My permit was set to expire on April 15th and of course worry started to set in. This past Sunday I contacted my congresswoman in San Jose, CA. Her aide replied the following day asking for me to fill out a privacy waiver. Today I got an email from USCIS saying that my work permit had been approved!

Congrats! The HR department at my work contacted my Senator's (Blumenthal) office for me and my permit was renewed in less than a week!

Same here, sucks for us. My permit expires tomorrow and I'm out of cards to play. I did a service request and contacted my congressman but they just told him what they had told me... At this point, I don't know what else to do.
