I have traveled three times since Jan 20th to NYC and LAX and I haven't had any issues. My DL says "temporary" on it and it hasn't been a problem. I do carry my passport and EAD just in case but they haven't been needed so far.

So do you think we would be okay? Well, my husband..

I've traveled all over the country after Trump took office. Not a single issue. It's the same exact thing. Just travel with your regular Drivers License. Keep your EAD with you but just pretend its not there. Show your DL when you board and what not...just like everyone else lol. I have a Connecticut DL (States "Not for Federal Identification) and there is no issue at all with that. Tons of people here have that ID, even citizens. They haven't gotten the memo yet about the verified IDs. Good luck.

I wonder if things have changed since inauguration day.
I don't think I'm gonna risk it.

My Asian brother flew from California to West Palm Beach, FL using valid and empty passport with no problem. Since it's United airline, the only problem he got was overbooked seat so he had to wait for another flight. (No joke!) It happened like 2 weeks before the Vietnamese doctor's incident so yeah it's just recently. Lucky, he didn't get drag out like that doctor tho.

Anyway, don't fly with United airline if you're Asian :P

No, unfortunately not. He couldn't fully understand English, and he wasn't aware of his right to get compensation either, until that news came out.
