Am I screwed with a citation for minor in consumption of alcohol?

other than the citation my record is clean. Here in texas its a class c misdemeanor. That is my only misdemeanor. will this affect future renewals? im 20 btw.

You still have to be very careful. People are getting deported for lesser stuff.
