Just won a 3 day vacation package there. Im worried because i dont speak any spanish. unless you count uno grande burrito spanish.

Puerto Vallarta is a tourist town . You most likely won't have to speak any Spanish since there will be plenty of deportees working there in hospitality to make you as comfortable as can be .

Really? First thing I would do after getting citizenship (or green card really) is to buy plane tickets to either Canada or Mexico. Drive if need be

It's an amazing feeling to experience a different world . In some ways we have been trap within this great nation . So traveling is very warranted and deserved .

I applied for my passport right after i got my citizenship, but i didnt leave the country because of school, work and plus I was applying green cards for my parents so I had a lot going on in the last 6 months. Now they both got their green cards and i got admitted to the school I want with a new position at the medical school. I finally have some time to treat-yo-self.
