Hi, I recently have been hearing a few rumors that Advance Parole no longer accepts applications for multiple entries. I've been trying to find more information about that but all of the articles are pretty outdated. Has anyone else heard anything about this? I need AP for my work which has consistent international traveling :/ so if this was not allowed it would be really difficult..

I've read it on the forums here once, but I couldn't confirm it anywhere else.

I havent heard of it it may be speculation. You could check with an attorney before applying- there are some who offer free consultations

I applied for my multiple entry AP back in November and was approved sometime in the beginning of April. I left US on May 5th and am currently staying in South Korea. My AP is valid for one year for multiple entries, so I guess it is just a rumor that they do not issue it anymore.

What reason was your AP for?

Awesome, thank you!

Also @ Mods, could we please get a sticky Advance Parole forum to organize all of the stories and updates circulating?

I have applied for AP and it was denied because they needed more evidence.
Because hey said my grandmother wasn't serious ill. They need more proof I didn't know what kind proof to give because my grandma wasn't seriously sick. I think what they wanted to hear was she was dying until them I can go. I tell my self for what they want to see my grandmother dead in order for me able visit her. I was very upset. I haven't see my grandmother since I was 9 years old. If pls anybody who had their AP approval let me know your stories. I also want to go to adjust my status. So I have proof I enter legally to US.

I have traveled multiple times on AP and helped others preparing theirs as well. Speaking from my personal experience, you will have to provide uscis with an evidence indicating that your immediate presence is required (or at lease recommended) for the benefit of your grandmother who must be going through some medical complications. The easiest senario for you is to show that she is deadly sick and that you would have to attend her funeral in the near future. In other cases, you will have to include a letter from her doctor stating her current medical condition. I am not sure how old she is, but most elders suffer from one or more chronical disorders such as pulmonary, cardiac, high/low blood pressure, etc. The letter from her doctor would usually include only her current medical status. Once you have that letter, the rest is really upto you to explain why, although she isn't gonna die in next couple of days, you would like to make a visit to her. I know that for people who have never visited their native country, they often mention how much they miss their family members whom they haven't met for a long time.

I think if you can provide uscis with a fairly resonable explanation, they will most likely approve your application. Now, with your AP denied, it makes me wonder what sort of information you had submitted. If you don't mind, can you briefly explain what did your doctor's note state?
