That's what I'm thinking as well, and that the ones already submitted will be processed. I will apply.

Thanks for the advice! Wish me luck.

You should apply right away. I understand your apprehensions but in these circumstances, its best to be already in DACA pool. Lindsay Graham (republican) said, "there's no way we can start deporting these young folks once they have showed trust in us and come forward and give their info. I won't be able to sleep if I was ever involved in deporting such folks (paraphrase)".

Apply.

I dont want to be cynical, but that's possibly true. Democrats need us, but Republicans don't. That was made evident in the election. Despite Trump's anti-immigrant and racist platform, Republicans still won so much. Now they really don't need to make any 'compromises' on immigration. The only reason bills may not pass is because they're not 'tough' enough for ultra conservatives. Considering how spineless democrats are, things don't look good. Although i do believe DACA is small enough that it might survive a legal challenge in the courts.

I agree somewhat. However, I feel that this is going to be the perfect time for Republicans to seize an opportunity, IF they seize it. Democrats and Republicans both agree, in some ways and forms, that those that qualify for DACA should remain and be able to work. In fact, most the country supports it and supports some path for legal status for Dreamers.

The Republicans would be dumb not to pass some form of legislation to legalize dreamers while also getting e-verify and other things they may want in order to force the Democrats to compromise. I think Trump knows this, which is why he has left it untouched (DACA). Trump needs to address the issue NOW.

Imagine if he legalizes dreamers and places e-verify and other republican ideas for immigration? He will be loved and applauded by the nation, which he desperately needs lol.

News media reported it but he never made such a statement. He's been pro dreamers as far back as 2014 I think.

That's not an argument. Judge him from a neutral pov.

Our situation is different from muslim immigration or the undocumented that came here as adults. If dream act has any chance of survival we have to distance ourselves from them two. We were minors, we had no choice. We have to play that card again and again.

He also never said he would defend DACA or he approved of DACA so lets see his position regarding this potential lawsuit

I'm not so sure if most of the country supports it. There's lots of false information out there about dreamers.

Do you have anything better to contribute to these forums other than argue with people?
