Do 2007 and ↓ for now, this is urgent.

My thinking is Democrats believe they can shower the Republicans with our sad stories and have them cave in signing it. no matter how much more lax it has become. So that way all the recent childhood arrivals can receive relief on our backs. It'd be nice if they can actually get them to go along with it so this way we avoid another dreamer crises in the future.

I'm sure there will be negotiations so the requirements aren't so broad.

I was glad to see them mention border security many times, but I think they should have kept it 2007 or maybe 2010 for now. September is almost here

Where did you hear this? Neither of them mentioned during the press conference that it'd be tied to any other bills.

It's not tied to any border security at the moment but I'm sure they will attach something to it.

It's very important we unite under the same message.

I'm all for fighting for relief for a broader set of immigrants, but now is not the time! We're a month and a half away from potentially losing DACA, so efforts should be made to at least save that. Then, you can initiate the deals to cover more immigrants.

Negotiation will happen only if both sides are interested in the issue. This monstrosity of a Dream Act won't even make it past the committee, I'm afraid.

A better strategy is to #SecureDACA, then fight for the #dreamact.
