Hello guys,

I received my letter for advanced parole. I can travel from August 1-Nov 1 to my country. I wanted to travel on August 19 and come back on October 19. I'm concerned because of the news below:

Republican state AGs threaten lawsuit if Trump doesn't end DACA by Sept 5

What do you guys think?

Are you doing to visit or to clear EWI? If it is just to visit I would wait. If it is to clear EWI, I would leave and come back within a few days (before Sept 5th).

Thank you guys for your feedback.

Why so long? It's for employment purposes - overseas assignment.
It's not for EWI. Overstayed my tourist visa. I don't have a criminal record.

Ouch, this sucks if it is for employment. Hopefully this won't bring you issues at work. But I believe it is best you come back on time, perhaps just make sure you are aware of the developments when you are away.

bro feel free and go without any fear. i left country right after president elected and and he banned few muslim countries. everything was very hot and tough but i left without any fear. I'm telling you go ahead. nothing going to happen to daca. all i know pretty soon we going to have very bright future. if they wanted to finish daca they would have done it long long long time ago. so don't stress and relax and enjoy your trip. go and good luck

So I have a weirder situation,

I want to travel to FL in a few weeks, I have a misdemeanor on my record but STILL have DACA and was accepted to receive DACA even with the conviction. Should I be worried to travel domestically? I have never flown before, so I'm nervous at to what will happen when they look at my ID.

Domestically, you're fine. You just show your ID to TSA, they search you, and you're good to go. Just don't be carrying guns or drugs, of course.
