AP approved!

The guys so I applied for AP back in January. I didn't send any proof of why I wanted to go to my country, well the reason was humanitarian. I received a RFE from USCIS, so I mailed back a copy of birth certificate and a letter saying that my grandma's condition was. I mailed it on July 14th, they received it in their office July 25th, and today I got a letter saying I am approved from 07/30 all the way up until April 30,2018 which I thought it was amazing for them to approve it within a week! The letter said that I will be receiving my card in a separate document! who has traveled using Ap and what was it like?
