3 year DACA

Not so long ago I saw a thread here about people that had 3 year approvals. My expiration date for my 3 year is in Jan 2018. I applied (in fear) of trump getting rid of the program before he stepped into the White House (Jan 5th 2017.) I have been waiting ever since. My lawyer reached out to them to see what was the hold up and they sent the following back....

The Nebraska Service Center (NSC) is closely monitoring the expiration dates of initial Form I-821D, Consideration for Deferred action for Childhood Arrivals, and Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization Document. We are working the renewals in the order of previous card expirations. You must also have attended your biometrics appointment at the Application Support Center.

I'm worried that they won't approve by Sept 5th. Anyone else going through something similar?

When did you send in your renewal? Did you do your biometrics? I recently sent in my renewal and didn't get this message. And I already did my biometrics.

I sent my renewal Jan 5th. Biometric appointment was done Jan 26.

But don't forget my expiration date isn't until Jan 2018

They might have seen your expiration being so far back and they probably are waiting on it.

I got you. Well, don't worry. A lot of us are in same situation and there have been people who have gotten approved who have sent in their renewals earlier. I don't think we will get denied. We will get it because we sent in the renewals before the September 5 deadline and already did biometrics process.

Uscis could just stop issuing renewals when the lawsuit goes forward

I'm definitely it scared of being denied. More scared because of the deadline of sept 5th. I really hope you're right about us being approved even after September 5th because we did send it early. I've been praying every night. Keep me updated on yours to see if you get approved. 🙏🏻
