I am truly looking forward to the day when we get some permanent relief and I can finally not come to this site. For now, I'll just have to lurk in the background and witness the daca person bashing another daca person-style comments.

You would be surprised how shitty some immigration attorneys are.
God this is my biggest fear my family getting tricked by an incompetent lawyer and yes ive seen so many incompetent lawyers in my Latin community laying and cheating and taking advantage of our people . It's sick .

" Unfortunately, financially it would be very difficult to buy the tickets to see him and[we can’t go] because of the violence.”

Sadly the real reason they can't visit him is because of a lack of status this means they might never see him again .

This story hurts me to the core I'm sad it happened. Talk about life not being fair . I feel for the mother and family .

Life takes you on many paths and I wish him the best .

I joined a Facebook group and didn't like it half the time I was reading in Spanish and answering questions like "do I qualify for the dream act? " the people on those groups are so misinformed . I'm very greatful for this forum and for all you informed and educated dreamers .

I am not judging. I am just stating facts.

So, over 80?? lmfao what a joke. A lot of people drive 80 or above on the freeway in San Diego County, and it is not a danger on the freeway. But, I do consider 80 or more mph in town would indeed be fucking reckless. You also made another good point; he should have followed state law, even though it is relatively a joke of a fucking law. lmfao

Part of me still says he deserved a second chance. Really, I mean I guess it depends where it was he was driving 80 mph. You wouldn't drive 80 mph in a school zone.
