I've got a feeling Democrats will realize that their supporters WANT a compromise. Everyone and their mother is starting to call Democrats out. I'm pretty sure they will be coming to the table. This is a golden opportunity to get the ball rolling.

Gotcha.

I think they may cut a deal for broader reform. Not just DACA people. People on this forum want to believe that comprehensive reform is "impossible". I'm not so sure.

It is not, but you need to understand that the GOP wants border security measures before larger reform. This compromise would be a stepping stone for each side.

Let Trump have his damn wall it won’t do anything anyway. At this point the Dems are putting their pride over us. If the GOP offers any sort of amnesty for us they need to take it.

The Republicans are looking a wall as well as the RAISE Act and all they're going to get in return is a permanent DACA?

Trump was against a comprehensive immigration reform back in 2013 and he said that he will never support such a bill in his campaign multiple times.

He also said he'd trash DACA but someone changed his s mind. He can change his mind about CIR. The reason they got sequestered in the White House is because he tends to take the position of the last person he spoke to.

He also said attacking Syria was a big mistake and oh what's this? He attacked a Syrian air station ?

Trump doesn't have any concrete beliefs and he's willing to change them adjust whatever in the moment he's pressured to. You guys are placing to much trust on a guy who changes emotions faster than a teenager on hormones

September is going to be an interesting month with Congress finally debating immigration and the wall. Hopefully the ball gets rolling on something positive for us. These next two weeks are going to be nothing but speculation.
