Well you think but I know that he does not want to. He is not as stupid as some people make him to be. He even does not want to repeal ACA either. He has approved the CSR payments despite "threatening to withhold on them." The man is playing his base perfectly. He's got them on a leash but deep inside he has many liberal tendencies being a millionaire businessman. All this spells very good news for the uncertainty surrounding DACA. I cannot wait for next month. If UWD andDemocrats decide to stop playing politics, we stand a good chance of becoming legalized by the end of the year.

Do you have any idea of what would happen to people just aging into DACA? Y'know, dreamers who aren't under DACA yet wether it be due to financial issues, fear, or like I said, they haven't aged in yet. I'd hope they wouldn't be left behind.

I fit into this class (somewhat). I have always qualified for DACA since its inception in 2012 but out of fear I put it to the side. I applied last month and just did my biometrics but I feel that it'll get cancelled before I get approved.

I don't know whats worse: never getting the benefits of DACA and seeing the opportunity possibly being taken away, or having DACA all these years only to be essentially forced back into the shadows? :/

If the program DACA is terminated then no one will be able to renew or apply anymore. The EADs might be valid until they expire but the protection from deportation will cease the exist. I doubt they will still work on the applications whether it be renewals or first time applicanfs.

Bro, why did you never apply before? It literally changed my life for the better. Before it? I had a dead-end job I hated and was depressed about my future. Now? Just received my bachelor's degree two weeks ago, graduated debt-free, and I still have $ in the bank.

Hope your app goes through so you get two years of awesomeness.

I gotta imagine it will be sooner than the dateline. I guess the only good thing about it is that trump is so loathed that hes going to get a huge backlash and congress will have to do something and ignore whatever he says. they already are.

Unfortunately I don't know about aged out Dreamers if that's what you're asking. I do hope there is some sort of legislation but the key is we need to get the ball rolling and that means DACA recipients should be legalized and Democrats NEED to work towards this! They need to stop this bullshit demand of "citizenship for all." This has to be done in pieces step by step. I really think if you're eligible for DACA, you should apply for DACA immediately. Just borrow the damn money if you have financial problems or something and stop being scared. There's not going to be any financial help for you to get DACA lol. Not sure if I understand what you're asking.

That would still leave dreamers out. People seem to forget there are still people becoming eligible for DACA. You need to be 15 to apply and have come before 2007 right? That means a child brought here in 2004 at the age of 1 would be eligible for DACA sometime next year.
