I would think there would be a cutoff date and that would prolly be September 5th. So prolly no more new applicants after that but since you did before and already did bios, I think you should be good.

I don't think so because he's technically ending the program. Just letting the ones that already have it renew and who knows what basis we are going to be renewing as? It might not be DACA but something else entirely.

I think this is a win win scenario for Trump. He appeased his base and at the same time had some heart for Dreamers. Amnesty and legalizing us was too far reaching. At this time, I am happy just to have my EAD and keep being able to renew. I will be grateful to Trump if he does option 1.

I bet if someone matches the timeline of DACA stories in the days preceding Trump's inauguration to the timeline of stories going up to September 5th, it will look like an exact match. The highs, the lows, the Axios/Vox story that never became true, etc. we won't know until Trump speaks. Or it could be like Jan 21st, when we were expecting him to say something about us and he just never did.

The story back in January wasn't wrong. There was a memo drafted to end DACA, but Trump decided not to sign it.
