Guadalajara and even some resort towns filled with American expats/retirees like Puerto Vallarta are also good too. Mexico City is way too overpopulated

I recall reading that Obama may/will make his voice heard in support for us if Trump was to cancel DACA. We never know maybe our former Prez will speak up this weekend, that would be awesome!!

trump is petty and when pushed he doubles down. If Obama comes out in support, trump may very well end DACA out of spite.

Trump off to Camp David for the weekend, so maybe he comes back on Monday with a decision made.

So all this talk about the grandfather option; how does this help us with the court case? The states are still going to go ahead with that then I believe.

Trump better not come up with some hostage nonsense like you better give me the wall or raise for you guys to get legal. the hell with his demands. not after arpaio. the man is complete monster. im actually at peace with all this daca ending stuff. ive seen a lot of support the last few days. especially after the arpaio news. its going to be a clusterfuck if trump ends daca. especially after this arpaio garbage.

I looked at the headline of this thread and thought to myself: how did we get to this point?

I honestly believe that the turning point was when Obama tried to establish eDACA and DAPA.

That's when conservatives really got pissed off and started throwing around buzzwords like "unconstitutional" and "overreach" and "amnesty" made those same words applicable to DACA. I seriously believe that if it wasn't for that moment when Obama tried to get a little too saviouristic, we wouldn't be discussing this right now.

Anyone have the potential to marry? How long does it take to get a marriage based GC?
It sucks that we have to start thinking of options. I have no one in my home country, but I do have the option of living anywhere in the EU, but I can't imagine picking up and starting over!

Either way, I am still hopeful and optimistic that something good will come out of this. I really think if DACA was to be rescinded, Trump would have wasted no time to let the Twitter-verse know.
