It sucks that we have to start thinking of options. I have no one in my home country, but I do have the option of living anywhere in the EU, but I can't imagine picking up and starting over!

Either way, I am still hopeful and optimistic that something good will come out of this. I really think if DACA was to be rescinded, Trump would have wasted no time to let the Twitter-verse know.
I think if he was going to out right end it, yesterday would have been a good time for him to do it. With all the shit he dumped in the media yesterday, it would have went unnoticed. I think something is going on here in our favor.

I am hoping you are right. At this point, I hope they grandfather current DACA holders and allow us to renew while this plays out in court. But, I don't even know what to think anymore.

If the Dems had just passed DREAM Act in 2010, this wouldn't even be happening now.

I apologize to everyone if I sound selfish but I’m not going back to shadows come December 12 when my paper expires. I did my renewal biometrics on the 8th and it’s still under review. I have a nice car, make almost close to 6 figures as most of you are. I’m sick and tired of this s… I’m ready to move back to my country at this point.

How are you gonna give us hope and then take that away from us.. It's 1 freaking million of us.

While Fridays are typically the day of the week for politicians to get rid of their political burden, the rule of thumb is to only deliver so much bad news that by Monday it essentially is "old news" already. On the other hand, if a politician goes too far, by Monday the public opinion may be so against them that their political futures may essentially be over. Pardoning Arpaio, and ending DACA on the same day would have given the press a field day, and it would only take a few colorful headlines for this to become a major scandal. After all, Trump just pardoned Arpaio - an individual found legally guilty by an American court.

While one article came out about DACA yesterday and how Trump was thinking about ending it and then all the other media outlets followed suit and repeated same thing. Look at the wording of it and you will see it is about ending DACA for new applicants. I think those of us who have had DACA for years and are in the process of renewing, something is in store for us. Even if you look at the lawsuit, Paxton has said he doesn't want Trump to rescind DACA immediately or to deport DACA applicants, just a phasing out of the program. If grandfathering wasn't a legal option and the lawsuit would still press ahead, why would Trump and advisers look towards that option. There is something in the works for us. We will find out next week.

At least when you're deported you'll go to Argentina. It's poor but at least it's safe. I'd compare it to an Eastern European country. Way better than where most Dreamers are from.

This whole forum is just a sad reminder of what could of been. If the DREAM Act would of passed we would of finally been free. Unfortunately now it's just the DACA death bed countdown with theories to make you feel better...

He can't dump too many negative news on one Friday. I guess we will see next week.
