With this roller coaster. With the politics. With the fact that your life is in order right now, but it could be destroyed tomorrow. An impending change that will forcing you to either hide in the shadows or to flee to another country. How do you do it?

I have a career that I worked hard for, yet I can't focus on my work. I may take tomorrow off. My friends are excited about the upcoming holiday weekend, making plans to go camping, to go to birthday parties. I should be out there making plans with them. Yet I can't. The roller coaster is too much.

Spiritual. Get in touch with nature and or God if you're religious. This life is just temporary and full of hardships and problems. My life hasn't been exactly peachy, but I know that others have it much worse than me. I was a child in a war torn country and there were bombs going off day and night but I survived. I fled with my family to a neighboring country where I was a refugee. And then 2 years later moved to Europe and then finally came to America. If I can survive that, I can survive this. I am grateful for the little things. I don't believe in organized religion but there is a higher power. Seen too much not to believe. With prayer and hope and belief, anything is possible. I know it's cliche but it is true.

A lot of exercise. Lift weights 4 days a week. Run 4 miles a day and play basketball on the weekends

Knowing that worrying does nothing to change the outcome. Just take life one day at a time and have a plan B just in case.
