Yesterday's rumor was for a bad outcome today. At least that doesn't seem likely to happen. We live for another day for a better outcome. And at least some people can have their app processed today, meaning they will get a renewal. Every day counts.

Grandfathered means you get to keep your DACA but don't get to renew at all

[quote=libertarian1776;627971]CIR w/DREAM ACT in 2013 passed 68-24 in Senate.

we will see, they say 80% of Republicans support DREAMEr's, combine that with 100% of Democrats in the house thats way over a veto proof majority.

If those numbers were true the DREAM Act would've passed years ago. Don't believe it

I work in the city of Auburn, Ca. It's a city with huge supporters of Trump. I was driving around and just passed by 30-40 protestors with signs. One read, "Stop hatred, Support Dreamers." I got chills all over just seeing that all these people were Caucasian. Guys, we have support! More than ever. When coming out of the shadows, we shared with these people (friends, co workers, bosses, teachers) our story. We showed that we only wanted to work and go to school, wanted to make America better and just wanted the American dream for us. If DACA ends, then it ends. But something will happen and we will have something else. We will be okay! I have hope! Let's have ours heads up! All 800,000! Stand for our DREAM!

California is a very liberal state. However, good for them

Big cities in California tend to go liberal. Small counties not so much.

I have a question. If they are ordered to show up to the office with tickets, why not just flee instead? Can't they just disregard the order and move to a new house? I guess maybe they are just tired of running?
They won't do that. They'll rather do the "right" thing. Pretty sure they are tired of this whole thing and spending money on lawyers and other things just to get uncertain results.

Just as a background:
We came here from Indonesia in 2003. We entered legally and applied for Asylum right away. But got denied and tried to appeal.

Long story short: switch lawyer and she didn't apply for our appeal for 2 years, we have no status, we went on Order of Supervision Program, I got DACA and they're still on the program until about 4 months ago when their i246 was denied for the first time after 8 years.
