Sold all my ripple holding, close 40k, when it hit about 28-35c. This was a while back.
I won't buy it again, along with ETC. And not because I don't think it will not grow.

Bought Siacoin back before the summer. Sold when it hit 1.3c. Have about only 25k left.
(Know friends in Chain who mine on a large scale, and one of them holds almost 20% of the supply for Siacoin).

I won't go into what I hold nor recommend any coins - besides not being a financial advisor it would simply be irresponsible - but a good video that I would recommend, at least as a point of departure, as far as how to diversify a crypto portfolio would be this one:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VD4XgHGrczc

To say nothing of privacy coins, advertisement, etc; also, the difference in low and high supply coins, and so on and so forth.

Pay attention more to the categorizes rather than the specific coins that he recommends, then look into them individually.

Finally, among public veteran investors in the crypto-space, few come close, in my experience and view, than Tai Zen and Leon Fu:

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC_S...rFbeV1ZRa3dJmA

These last two are the only people I feel confident recommending to anyone - mostly because they understand how to evaluate the value proposition and fundamentals of a crypto-currency.

Monero and Monaco have really been growing rapidly. Not too sure about Sia though. There are some nice ICOs.

I saw Ripple rally to .40 c and didn't dump it. It was one of my 1st coins and thought the volatility was normal. It's been doing ok the last few days.

I sold all my monero a while back...really kicking myself for that one. The appeal of anonymity is a big one, especially w/tightening controls. DASH and XMR are way high now; so got some PIVX yesterday.

Hard to know at this time...could be a trillion dollar economy, could got to hell in a hand basket if Trump decides to listen to bank buddies to put a cap on it. I've known of bitcoins for more than 5 yrs and it just doesn't die, so I thought it was long overdue I jumped on board.

Basically crypto has the capacity of replacing all electronic payment systems. Some big players are hopefully jumping on board. If Alibaba adopts it (in my opinion the next 1k/share stock), it won't be long b4 Amazon does it, and should just snow ball from there.

I definitely agree on the potential, but my main concern is that right now there too many players/ICOs.

Additionally one major trader or dealer could crush the market at any moment.
