Hey guys, so I'll give you a little background - I work at T-Mobile, yesterday, I actually got promoted to a full time retail store manager, offering at 38,000$ a year salary plus store bonuses! I'm literally so excitedddd, but now with the fear of DACA being over, I'm scared that I've worked hard and it's all going to be taken away from me, my EAD expires in March of 2019. I wonder what Trump is going to do but I'm a little sick of living life like this, not being able to visit where I want to go, my BF wants to go to Turks and Caicos, and I also have advance parole to visit Poland but with all this stuff, it's too scary for me to even use to AP at this point. Not to throw shade or sound like I'm better than anyone else because I don't think that but I feel like I work way more and make more money and pay more tax than half of these so-called "US citizens". What do you think will happen to Daca and to us?

No one knows. I personally think we will be okay one way or another. If daca gets discontinued, there will be solution.

I like my tmobile service.

I feel the same way. I work my way up currently working in a big company as Tax Associate and passed my CPA and 3 classes away from obtaining my Masters on Tax. Im paying taxes and contributing to the economy. I'm sure it's not the end. We all need to be strong and we will see the light in the end! I opened up to my friends who are citizen and they strongly support my situation.

Congrats on the store manager job. As someone who has retail management experience, not in wireless, but for a big name brand, $38,000 is extremely low. Hopefully this whole DACA situation will go in our favor and if/when it does, you need to negotiate that salary.

Agreed thats seems very low and hopefully once this storm passes she will be able to get a higher salary through negotiations or leave for a better job.

it's actually 38,000 is a salary, but I also get store bonuses, the minimum for bonuses is $1600, that can change and double depending on our the store performs it's monthly based on sales, so it's literally 4-5K a month and I'm ok with that because Im only 24 and still in school

Great thing about dreamers, we do try harder than a lot of people in the work force.
