I think some of you who have parents or partner with green card or citizenship need to look into 245(i) more carefully.
Just a year ago, I was like you guys hoping for dream to pass. Now I am waiting for a green card to come out.
My family never thought that I would be eligible for 245(i) since I never filed petition before Apr. 2001. But, we recently found out I am! It's funny even our lawyer who worked with us for a long time didn't know about it at all. It's not fake. And our lawyer is not lying. I actually did extensive research on it just to make sure. I wanted to let you guys know of this because some of you might be in the same situation and just aren't aware of it. Good luck!

Can you explain then? I am a citizen. I've talked to high-powered lawyers including Juan Gomez's lawyers.. unless you know something they don't I think your lawyer is lying.

Look into the grandfather clause + child protection act more carefully. Some people are grandfathered forever. Like I told you I did an extensive research on my own. And it is not hard to find such a case even online. By the way, my lawyer is the most famous and established immigrant lawyer in my community. She just did not know I'm eligible for it. Not that she didn't know such law exists.

Lol,This is the exact reason why I chose to learn most of the laws under INA.It helps out in more ways than one.

I'm glad you were able to find something for yourself monkeycouscous,CSPA + 245[i] grandfathering laws are a good combination for any undocumented person.
