How can he end it tomorrow and add a delay to it? So what is ending it tomorrow? What is the definition of ending it if there is a 6 month delay?

Does it mean the ending of DACA is delayed 6 months?

Well, it sets a date for the end of it basically and when it will be enforced. Meaning it is going to end but at this date. When USCIS ends TPS for certain countries, they tell you the exact date when it will end. So before that date, you can still send in applications.

So can we agree that Trump is not ending DACA tomorrow but rather he setting a date when it will end?

What does it mean to end? No more renewals?

Yes, but we have to wait for it to be official and the exact details. Hopefully tomorrow. Can't take any more waiting and speculating.

The way I see it he is trying to get DACA off his shoulders. If congress wanted to act on preserving DACA they would have done it already. So now he is giving them 6 months for news to calm down and don't get as much backlash as ending it immediately. Congress will run out of time and they will be finger blame pointing game "he said she said". "Oh, I told congress to act and they did not" "Oh, president did not give us enough time to act on it"

This is not going to end well. If you guys have plan B somewhere, think of using it. If not, start thinking about it.

First thing people still with EWI should do is get that advanced parole. You'll truly be fucked if you don't clear that and DACA ends.

I don't think there will be renewals. If they issue new permits the law suit would go forward and Sessions has said he wouldn't defend it in court. It sucks that Congress knew eventually this would happen and nothing was done to save it.
