Yeah. Same here. Until early this year someone told me to take a shot. Felt so valuable with all the hard work through engineering.

Per my brief research, Australia is another country that's worth looking it. I picked Canada because it's closer and cheaper. Australia had hefty fees because Engineers Australia have to certify your engineering experience on top of all the exams and immigration fees.

I have migrated over to Canada. I had applied for my Canadian PR through their Federal Skilled worker program long before DACA was even in place or considered. With my luck, I received my Canadian PR approval as well as DACA around the same time. Unfortunately at that time, there was no express entry so I had to wait about 5 years to get my Canadian PR. Once you receive the approval for PR you have a set time to become a landed immigrant so I had used my AP to come to Canada during that time. I lived here (Canada) for about a year then went back home (US). I just moved back this year after Trump got into office. Call me a chicken if you will, but I have the responsibility of my parents and if I am jobless then we all become homeless, so I just got up and left.

If you guys have any questions regarding the move to Canada feel free to send me a message.

I dont usually post on the forum but I am a frequent visitor. If you have any questions regarding migrating to Canada or even multiple entry AP let me know.

Regardless of where I am, one thing is for sure.. US will always be home.

Thanks!

I'd pick Canada over Australia too.
That's part of why I chose engineering to begin with..valuable degree in most countries if we have to leave. Did you have French on your application too?

No French. Only considered learning if there was no other path.

Congrats! You're an inspiration, thank you for your post. Did you use an immigration attorney through your process?

Definitely. I'll PM you my email. We make it here, we can make it anywhere.

Would've loved to stay here and serve this country but they dont want me with all this racist shit. I don't see my company easily replacing my indian workaholic ass with a US citizen so fast. I'll be missed. lol

Damn, that's still a lot of money. Do you know if they would consider money partially from a loan from the bank?? I'm still in the middle of getting my Master's degree..
