He just planned to end DACA in 6 months and put pressure on Congress.

1) If Congress does not pass some sort of reform he will blame them.

2) If Congress DOES pass some sort of reform the MAGA racists will be angry and he’ll blame them.

Trump doesn’t actually have a heart to give a crap about us, his only goal is getting his 8 years. The funny thing is his supporters don’t realize the game he’s playing.

And a senior White House aide said that if Republican lawmakers fail to agree on a plan, he didn’t expect Trump to follow through on terminating DACA — a prospect that would test Bannon’s commitment to support his former boss from the outside.

Trump doesn't even lift bro.

To your point, he is pretty much giving the ball to congress to act. However, we've seen what happened with ending the healthcare. Their biggest issue to hate and they didn't get close to a full repeal. A nation divided. I really hope congress is able to redeem themselves this time.

He’s saying that now cause I’m sure he thinks Congress will pass something. He’ll most certainly end it judging by his track record and pressure of his cult.

I have to agree with this. Trump needed to appease his base, and he needed to shift the blame to Congress to relieve pressure on himself.

Ending DACA in six months accomplishes both goals.

This may eventually lead to a DREAM Act, but I'm not going to thank Trump. What he does, he does for himself.

Obama, on the other hand, gave Dreamers something we never had. Before it was harder to pass something in Congress because Dreamers never felt what it was to leave the shadows.

Congress will have a much more difficult time putting us back in the shadows now that we know what it feels like being out of the shadows for five years.

God damn Obama, this fucker put us on the motherfucking map. I still remember the day of his announcement in the Rose Garden.

Whatever happens, I will always be thankful for Obama, what a fucking hero.
