Starting new job. My company is matching 40% of my contributions. Should I make an account even though we may not be able to stay?

don't do it. take it all cash.. until that 6 months are over... then when you have a better idea of the situation do invest...

I'm fairly certain that it still is possible to withdraw this money even if you leave the country.

You will pay a penalty which most likely will be covered by the contributions from your employers granted you are vested right away.
