Apparently Pelosi had a phone call with trump where she asked him to tweet this to reassure us. Idk how true it is, but this person is reporting it on twitter

Definitely we are facing a different situation from previous years, not only is there urgency to get this done, but also the politics have changed.

It's a bit too early for that. I'm not saying it won't happen, but it's not anywhere near close to done.

This President and these Republican leaders have a good chance of going down in U.S. history as the worst politicians.

I remain hopeful, but I understand we're up against a lot.

BOOM! Cautiously optimistic are key words. It too early so say we are doomed and too early to say this is a good thing. Fasten your seat belts and get ready for a long ass roller coaster ride for the new few months!

I think we have to remember that before he went full birther, Trump was a registered Democrat. Schumer probably knows him reasonably well from that time, so he and Pelosi know which buttons to push. We have to realize that the man doesn't care about any political party, everything revolves around him in his mind.

Dumbest tweet in a long time. Who the hell is worried about the next 6 months? We know how to read the memo that was issued to DHS. It's after March 5th that we are worried about.
Thanks, pardoner of Joe Arpaio. I feel so much more at ease with this tweet.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi asked President Trump on Thursday to tweet that DREAMers should not be worried about being deported in the next six months, a Democratic aide told The Daily Beast. “Pelosi told her colleagues at a whip meeting this morning that she spoke to Trump this morning via phone and asked him to tweet this to make clear DREAMers won’t be subject to deportation in a six-month window,” the aide said, referring to Trump’s decision to end DACA, the Obama-era program that shields DREAMers from deportation. Later Thursday morning, Trump tweeted: “For all of those (DACA) that are concerned about your status during the 6 month period, you have nothing to worry about—No action!”
