This is partially true, although it is not news... The catholic church is a corrupt institution. That might not be the entire motive but it really does not matter.

Money is the reason for how everything works, the whole human society depends on the monetary system.
To say that Catholic Churches do not have economic interest is sort of same as saying Breitbart do not economic interest, and yet they do.

It's not just Catholics. At least in my area the ones I see more aggressively evangelizing (going door to door) are Mormons followed by Jehovahs witnesses. Now that I think about it no Catholic has ever knocked on my door
