If Republicans can't negotiate in good faith shut the government down.
I don’t want them to say anything in particular, I want reactions, because that’s how you know their plan. It better to hear what they think than to hear nothing. Things are happening so fast, it has only been 1 week and 3 days, we have gone through up and downs on the hour. I want something solid, whatever it is. (Preferably good news for us)

Exactly!

Everify will come eventually. So will Real ID.

Dems did wrong by announcing a non existing deal

They need to shut up for a while now

Let GOP spill their beans

Give them the stupid e-verify! It's already being used regardless. Stop tripping

I sort of agree, Schumer and Pelosi may have overplayed their hand with a public announcement on a deal.

Not sure about Real ID, but e-verify or something similar will have to be included at some point. You can't ask for 11 milion people to be legalized but keep the same conditions as before. It's not going to happen.

Real ID is rolling already. Most of the states have asked for an extension to comply.

They're is already a deadline for REAL ID. It's a law. Some airports aren't even accepting Driver Licenses from states that aren't complying with REAL ID.

To say that most employers use e-verify is a pretty big stretch. Even in the states that mandate it there are issues.

Making it mandatory when/if an actual CIR passes, I'm all okay with, but in the meantime I'd rather not make the lives of the remaining 10/11 mil (depending on source) even harder...
