Reply to my fb im which states they owe Pelosi an apology.

Quote:
lmost everyone in this organization is DACA beneficiary. We are all immigrant youth, and are often called "DREAMers," but we push back against that label because it creates a narrative of underserving vs deserving immigrants, "model minority." Which is something we all reject And have gone on the record to do so. Many of the people yesterday have careers that rely on DACA and some of them will be deeply affected by it.

We have two split opinions and if you really care about yours I suggest you join a local organization that supports it and get involved in any way.

Our mission and vision are about anti-enforcement and solidarity work where we see it work best.

Moreover, Nancy Pelosi has a record of doing nothing when it comes to CA communities, including her own district where poor people can't afford rent because it is the most expensive in the country, some of these people are undocumented. Chuck Schummer received kick downs form private prison companies and voted in favor of immigration enforcement.

DACA got pushed back because Obama didn't wanna address the issue fully so he passed one of the most anti-immigrant enforcement packs to Trump.

We are now at a time where both Schummer and Pelosi are not only doing harm to immigrants but to communities of color who have papers as well. So we believe in standing side by side by those deeply affected.

If y'all got any questions and wanna understand we are open to answers.

In peace,

CIYJA

"where poor people can't afford rent because it is the most expensive in the country, some of these people are undocumented."

so now its the Country's problem that an undocumented person cannot afford housing? Gosh, talk about being entitled. Sometimes I think if I was not undocumented and did not empathize with our situation, I would have been anti-immigration as I strongly believe that you should not be a burden on any country you migrate to.

Those points derailed their claim completely. The cost of living has nothing to do with immigration. That's a whole new topic right there that any Californian can chime in on.
Undocumented people know rent is expensive that's why we work really hard in order to make ends meet.

These people are ridiculous! Move away if you can't afford rent there. People will be viewing us as entitled, selfish brats.

I live in the heart of silicon valley and this affects people from all walks of life. This is a separate issue. What's next? The government needs to slash gas prices so I can afford driving my car on the congested 101 or that it's unfair I need to pay for a train pass to get to work?

Judging from the lack of grammer in their responses, they need to go back to school and while they are in there, learn about macroeconomics.

If I ran an organization, I wouldn't allow a response like that, riddled with so many mistakes, to get out there. These people are a bunch of amateurs.
