This is what the Republicans came up with?

I don't mind the 10 Year Conditional Residence part, bit I do mind the waiving all rights part. They've taken the Dream Act and made it more "conservative" (Which I don't know what it means anymore). Essentially, they managed to make something else to bully people with for that stretch of time.

What are they thinking? Why come after us like this, we've proven ourselves worth of staying here. We are not drug dealers, murderers ect, we are probably the best candidates to stay here, we are piratically American just not in paper. They already vet us every 2 years they know everything already, what more do they want?.

This bill also removes our earned tax credits. Also, wtf we must go through an interpol background check like we commited so many crimes as children in our native countries. I don't know why guys were too eager in supporting this bill and saying at least it's something, it sounds like a trap

This bill clearly has the mark of the anti-immigrant groups all over it.

Does this bill have hardship waivers like the Dream Act 2017 (I believe) where you can still adjust your status if you can prove for some reason you haven't been able to work, study or join the army or it doesn't? We need to think about our fellow Dreamers who have learning disabilities and disabilities let's not forget about them. I know a fellow dreamer who has cerebral palsy and is bedridden

I am sorry but this bill would create a subclass and makes us into slaves.

-no sponsorship
-apparently we can't adjust through other means like marriage for ten years
- we lose our immigrational rights
- we cannot use federal benefits
- pay back taxes - okay this one is worrisome. How will they know how much you own back? I've been filing taxes even when I was working under the table. I filed using s itin number.

The GOP wanted extreme vetting remember so I bet they will find as much excuses to deny people

Some of you guys were so eager to have this pass wow I am going to collect those posts

Yeah the dreamers on this forum that brag about how much they bench press and how much money they make are really assholes. Disabilites can happen to anyone. If you get into a car accident and are out of work for a while, under this bill you can be deported with no court date.
