I am assuming you get to do it as many times as you want within a session. The bills get reintroduced on every session of congress I believe.

Remember each congress lasts two years and each has two sessions.

Discharge petition doesn't really have a time limit except the end of current congress. Still the sooner we can get more signatures the better. Every signature will be harder and take longer.

I feel like Pelosi might cut a deal with the 23-27 republicans that we need and the bill will be brought for a vote and they'll all just sign on at the same exact time. Solves the issue of some of them being essentially left out to dry should the motion not get anywhere. Names are public so I'm sure that #126, the only R to sign on thus far is probably getting a whole lot of dirty looks from Ryan.
