Florida flight

Hello! I hope I can get some help. I need to fly from Houston to Florida
(fort lauderldale airport) and back. I have bought my flight ticket already. Will I have any issues coming back to Texas? Is there a checkpoint at the Florida airport? Really appreciate you all's input. Thanks!

Since Texas ID/DL complies with Real ID. I highly doubt it you have any problem. I would take EAD if you want to be cautious. Last time I went to Florida I didn't have any problem.

I suggest take all your ID's (ID/DL, EAD, Passport if any), i just say in my point of view i have not traveled but wherever i go i take all my ID's .

Take in mind ur inside the US should not be an issue flying.

On 9/23 I traveled from Dallas (Love Field airport) to Tampa, FL making a connection in Houston. I had to issues going and returning and I just used my Texas ID. I was traveling with a puppy going back to Dallas so they did pat me down
and searched all my bags but it was because of the puppy but other than that everything went well.
