Like a post that I've seen stated " for a president they said got nothing done in 8years they sure are spending a lot of time trying to undue what he did. " Smh

So just to debunk some of your statements, ill mention these things:
Obama inherited a economy on the brink of recession so that stimulus relief package was everything, he helped SAVE the American auto industry.
As for the other things you stated about Obama worsening the racial tension, worsening the middle east with the influx of migrants, and worsening income and wealth inequality, you are so wrong.
First off Obama did not worsen race relations, having a black man as president brought out the hidden racist because they couldn't stand a black man being president.
Secondly Obama did not worsen the middle east, the Bush administration did that by starting a war in Iraq to destabilize the middle east, causing the influx of migrants all over Europe
And lastly Obama did not worsen income inequality, that's more congress voting not to increase minimum wage and other things they did to ensure wall street people maintain their status on top.
you're delusional.
it doesnt take a genius to pass a stimulus relief package.
and lol @ america being some hidden racist.
i guess that's why 90% of them support us, despite media depicting and lumping us in with other undesireables.
destabilizing iraq didn't start the migrant crisis are you dumb?
look it up, it was obama and hilary's meddling in syria, lybia, etc that brought all of this on.
gadaffi himself predicted this would happen.
but im not gonna keep arguing with you. you're literally just another "america is racist" spammer that does more harm for us than the "racist america" you claim did to obama.

Obama was merely a senator at the time. He did vote for the bank bailouts, but he was just one vote out of many. This is something that people get wrong all the time. There was actually a poll released years ago that showed that most Americans think Obama enacted the bank bailouts and not Bush, so I guess you're not the only one to make that mistake.

Most economists would disagree with your assertion that the US would be infinitely better off without the bailouts. The consensus was that it was necessary to avoid a depression. And the money gained from the bailouts was greater than the cost, so the taxpayers actually profited (and continue to profit) from the bailout.

Anyway, I think this thread has gone way off topic, so let's all just go back to talking about the poll.
in what way are bailouts for predatory companies a good thing?
they leech off the economy, don't pay their fair share, and make a killing off of taxpayers, how is that a good thing?

When the government bails out banks, there is obviously a concern that banks will take unnecessary risks believing that the government will always be there to bail them out. But most economists believe that the potential "moral hazard" caused by bailouts is less harmful than a total collapse of the banking system.

You want to simply let the banks fail despite the fact that much of the money they hold belong to everyday people and businesses? That's exactly what the U.S. government did back in the late 20s and early 30s when many banks were failing. And what did the bank runs of the late 1920s and early 1930s lead to? The Great Depression.

getting back to the discussion at hand....

at some point, e-verify is going to have to be implemented. If CIR ever passes, it's really hard to argue that a system like e-verify shouldn't be implemented; the whole point of legalizing everyone already here means that people coming after them *shouldn't* be able to work at all. Otherwise, it's going to be the same thing all over again.
